SENIOR COLLEGE YEAR 9 - YEAR 12
Senior College provides strong academic leadership to prepare students for tertiary studies. It is designed to meet the educational, vocational, emotional and spiritual needs of each student in Years 9 – 12, as they study for their School and Higher School Certificates, along with Vocational Education and Training Courses for students in years 11 and 12. Senior College students enjoy the benefits of small classes, dedicated teachers and a supportive school community. Each student is provided with the opportunity to be well prepared for further study or participation in the workforce. Part of this is training students to be self disciplined and independent learners. The Christian faith is presented as the ideal foundation for life and students are challenged to respond openly and honestly to the Christian worldview. Students will be guided to make wise decisions on many of the choices that they will need to make in adult life. They are encouraged to reflect on these choices in the light of the teachings of Jesus and the wisdom recorded in the Bible. Our hope for them is that they will grow as fine upstanding citizens, able and willing to change their world for good. |
